Special Interest Groups

There are seven special interest groups (SIG) within the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy that were developed to provide an avenue for networking with physical therapists expressing the same clinical interests. The SIGs provide a forum to discuss current research, advances in clinical practice and the challenges of patient care within these specialty areas and many have extensive resources available to consumers. The content areas include:

• Balance and Falls
• Brain Injury
• Degenerative Diseases
• Spinal Cord Injury
• Stroke
• Vestibular Rehabilitation
