Travel Information

Getting to Omaha is easy with both Interstates 80 and 29 providing direct access into the city. Omaha’s airport, Eppley Airfield, has more than 200 arrivals and departures daily and is located a quick drive from Omaha’s downtown area.

Ground Transportation To and From the Airport

AIRPORT SHUTTLE: The Airport Shuttle at Hilton Omaha provides complimentary transportation to and from Eppley Airfield between the hours of 4:00am-12midnight. 

  • Arrival Instructions: We do not schedule shuttle pickups in advance. Once you have arrived and collected any checked baggage, please text (402) 259-0599 to request a shuttle. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available at Eppley Airport if you need internet access for messaging. When texting, please be sure to include your airline name and number of individuals in your party.
  • Pick-Up Locations:
    • South Terminal (Door 1): Alaska, American, Delta, Frontier – Please exit and find the closest pedestrian crosswalk, but do not physically cross the street – our shuttles will pull to the crosswalk. 
    • North Terminal (Door 5): Allegiant, Southwest, United - Please exit and find the closest pedestrian crosswalk, but do not physically cross the street – our shuttles will pull to the crosswalk. 
  • Departure: The shuttle departs from the hotel lobby every 30 minutes between 4:00am and 12 midnight, on the hour and half hour. Boarding begins 5 minutes prior to departure, and an announcement will be made in the lobby. No sign- up is required. This service is provided on a first come, first served basis. 
CONFERENCE PARKING:
  • Overnight Parking: Upon arriving and parking at the hotel, please pull a ticket at the garage entry gate. Be sure to bring your ticket with you to check-in and present it to the front desk and it will be registered to your room. You will continue to use the same ticket every time you enter and exit the garage, so we recommend keeping it in your wallet/purse or returning it to your vehicle. You can also take a picture of your ticket with your phone – it will scan just the same!
  • Daily Parking: Upon arriving and parking at the hotel, please pull a ticket at the garage entry gate. Be sure to bring your ticket with you as you will need to pay at our lobby kiosk before exiting – there is no pay at the gate option. Tickets at valid to exit for up to 15 minutes after paying the balance – please do not scan your ticket in advance or it will be void.

TAXI: At the airport, taxis are located on the center island of the terminal roadway across from Door #3. If a taxi is not waiting in the queue, simply press the “Taxi Call” button which will dispatch a vehicle to the location click for more information.
