American Heart Association Evidence-Based Guidelines for Cardiovascular Disease Prevention in Women: 2007 Update. The following guidelines represent a major collaborative effort by the American Heart Association and 14 other professional and governmental organizations. Another 15 organizations endorsed the guidelines.
