Call for Nominations

The Nominating Committee is looking for members interested in the opportunity to serve as an officer of the Stroke Special Interest Group.  Officers direct the activities of the SIG including development of CSM programming, member outreach, and promotion of best practice.  Being a Stroke SIG officer is an excellent way to serve the APTA while focusing specifically on issues that affect you and your patients.  For next year 2012, we will have two open positions, Secretary (3 year term: 2012-2015) and Nominating Committee Member (3 year term: 2012-2015).  Please, contact a nominating committee member for more information or to nominate yourself or a peer. The deadline for submitting nominations is March 2, 2012. 

Candidates may submit their consent form in one of two ways. The first, and Neurology Section preference, is a fully electronic submission through the Neurology Section Website http://www.neuropt.org/go/members-only/nomination-form. An alternative method is to complete the MS Word document that is available from the nominating committee chair. If this form is used, it should be attached to an e-mail submitted directly to the Neurology Section Executive Officer (Sandy Rossi) at: Neuro@apta.org.  Sandy will confirm that she received the form.
