Special Interest Groups

Provide a forum to discuss advances in practice and the challenges of patient care within these specialty areas.

Only members of the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy can join any of the special interest groups (SIGs). These SIGs were developed to provide an avenue for networking with physical therapists expressing the same clinical interests. The Academy offers programming and publications to all members.

The SIGs have six elected positions. Each serves a three year term with the chair, vice chair and secretary eligible to be elected for a second term. Below are descriptions for each position:

Elections: In 2024 the SIG Nominating Committee and Secretary positions will be on the ballot. If you are interested in learning more about the role and nominating yourself or someone else please click here. 

Members who are signed on the mailing lists of the SIGs also receive publications and information about programming specific to the SIGs. Only members of the Academy can join.
