Research Training for DPTs

Research Training for DPTs

The National Institutes of Health offers Career Development Awards that are designed to help clincally trained professionals (like physical therapists with a DPT degree) who have the potential to become productive independent investigators. DPTs interested in this type of training work with an established researcher to develop a 3-5 year mentored, supervised career development plan that would include educational opportunities as well as mentored research.

The Section would like to extend a special thanks to all of the partnering organizations that have joined in to make the organization an invaluable resource for information, tools, and support for the population we serve.
