I graduated with a BS in PT in 1983 from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway Arkansas, I received my Advanced Masters in PT in 1998 from the University of Central Arkansas and then my transitional DPT in 2002 from the same institution.

Pro Bono clinical practice at the university seeing patients with spinal cord injury primarily.
Pro bono wheelchair and seating evaluations for adult neuro clients.
In addition, supervising students in the treatment of CVA, TBI and amputations.

Clinical Instructor II at the University of Central Arkansas since 1996.
Prior employment:
Senior therapist of the SCI team at Baptist Rehab in Little Rock (1993-1995),
Clinical Manager so of SCI at the Dallas Rehab Institute in Dallas Texas, (1987-1993).
Staff PT at Warm Springs Rehab in Gonzales Texas (1983-1986).

Why Are You Running For This Position?
I am running for this position to serve others interested in SCI and to encourage others to become more involved in the SIG. As a clinical Instructor in a Physical Therapy program, I feel that it is important to memtor students in areas of service to our patients andour profession. I have worked with patients with SCI for over 25 years in a variety of settings, including ICU, Acute care, in patient Rehab, out-patient and home health. Therefore, I feel that my experience and dedication to the treatment of individuals with SCI will contribute to the growth of the SCI SIG.
