Why Are You Running For This Position?

I am new graduate working in my first position and would like to become more involved not only in my professional association but also in the specialized and unique field of spinal cord injury rehabilitation. This position would be a great opportunity to share some of the exciting advances happening in SCI research, rehabilitation, and equipment. I enjoy networking with others in the field and am comfortable communicating with clinical, non-clinical, and scientific members of the SCI community. In my current position I split my time and energy between the clinic and research, which requires excellent organizational and time management skills, both of which would serve me well on the nominating committee. I am excited and eager to become more involved and to assist others in the field to become more involved and stay up to date with the ever-progressing world of SCI rehab by being on the Neurology SCI SIG nominating committee.

The Section would like to extend a special thanks to all of the partnering organizations that have joined in to make the organization an invaluable resource for information, tools, and support for the population we serve.
