Why Are You Running For This Position?
As a candidate for Secretary, I bring experience as a clinician, Director of Clinical Education, and academician to the role. These experiences require exceptional organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate well with others. I have been honored to be a member of the Board of Directors and to serve the Section as Secretary since 2008. During this time, I have focused on standardizing and expanding the policy and procedure manual, instituting the consent agenda process for meetings, and tracking the strategic plan. I look forward to continuing to participate in the growth of the section, and to record, organize, and communicate the direction of the section in the next 3 years. Most importantly, I bring passion and enthusiasm for the neurology section and the people it serves.
