When you join the Neurology Section, you'll join an active network of physical therapy practitioners, educators, and researchers dedicated to the prevention, examination, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of movement dysfunction impairments, functional limitations and disabilities in persons with neurologic pathology disease or injury.

• The Neurology section is a leader in the advancement of evidence-based practice, education, and research in neurologic physical therapy in order to promote optimal recovery, wellness, and quality of life in individuals with movement dysfunction due to neurologic health conditions.
• We provide the opportunity for professional growth, recognition, and leadership development through involvement in section activities including committees and special interest groups.

Membership in our section is open to all members of the American Physical Therapy Association.  International physical therapy professionals, other American professionals, industry partners, and members of the public not eligible for APTA membership are encouraged to join as Partners of the Section.
