Neurology Section Members Recieve PODS Scholarships
Eight Neurology Section members were the recent recipients of scholarships from the Foundation for Physical Therapy to support post-professional study. Promotion of Doctoral Studies (PODS) I & II Scholarships, part of the Foundation's Doctoral Opportunities for Clinicians and Scholars (DOCS) program, are to fund doctoral students, who having completed one full year of coursework, wish to continue their studies or have entered the dissertation phase of their doctoral program. The Foundation awards PODS I scholarships of $7,500 each year to physical therapists or physical therapist assistants who have completed at least two full semesters or three full quarters of their coursework toward a doctorate. PODS II scholarships of up to $15,000 each are awarded to physical therapists or physical therapist assistants who have been formally admitted to doctoral candidacy.

Fall Regional Courses
This 2-day course will, across the ICF model, discuss essential adult neurologic measurement tools applied across practice settings. Based on available evidence, emphasis will be placed on the participants' ability to identify the best tool(s) for specific patient groups, measurement interpretation, and tool adaptation for non-standardized situations.

President's Message
During the Neurology Section business meeting at the Combined Sections Meeting in Nashville, TN, Section officers presented to the membership a motion to make a $100,000 donation over the next five years to the Foundation for Physical Therapy.
