Brief Bio: Dennis Fell, MD, PT is Associate Professor and Chair of the PT Department at the University of South Alabama where he has served for sixteen years and teaches Pathophysiology, Neuroscience and Neurology Examination/Evaluation/Intervention. He received the University's 2001 Excellence in Teaching Award. He has served as Neurology Section E-News editor, peer-reviewer for Pediatric Physical Therapy and has held positions in the Alabama Chapter and Section on Education. He has been a presenter at all four of the most recent WCPT International Congresses.

Brief Bio: Dorian Rose, PhD, PT is a Research Assistant Professor and teaches neurologic rehabilitation in the Dept. of Physical Therapy at the University of Florida. She is currently Clinical Research Coordinator for the NIH-funded trial, Locomotor Experience Applied Post-Stroke (LEAPS) and is Principal Investigator of "Homeward Bound," an investigation in partnership with an inpatient stroke rehabilitation program to examine the effectiveness of translating motor learning principles into clinical practice.

Brief Bio: Judith E. Deutsch PhD PT is Professor and Director of the Research in Virtual Environments and Rehabilitation Sciences (Rivers) in the Doctoral Programs in Physical Therapy at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ. She contributes to the advancement of rehabilitation for individuals post-stroke through her scholarship of teaching and research. Her current research includes the development and testing of virtual reality rehabilitation systems to improve functional mobility. She is the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Neurologic Physical Therapy and a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Neural Engineering Research. She is a member of the Master Educator Guild at UMDNJ.

Brief Bio: Bob Wellmon, PT, PhD, NCS is Associate Professor in the Institute for Physical Therapy Education at Widener University, Chester, PA. He has served the Neurology Section for the past three years as the Chair of the Telecommunications Committee and was a member of the Nominating Committee for the Balance and Falls SIG. He also remains active in clinical practice specializing in the treatment of patients with stroke, spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury. His research interests focuses on the examination of the attentioanl demands of walking after stroke and in older adults.

Brief Bio: Karen "K-Mac" McCulloch PT, PhD, NCS is Associate Professor and Assistant Director for Distance and Continuing Education of the Division of Physical Therapy at the University of North Carolina, School of Medicine. She teaches entry-level, distance education transitional and doctoral level students. She participates in research on postural control with adults with neurologic involvement (TBI and stroke) as well as older adults and provides consultation for post-acute TBI care.

Pat's research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health and the American Heart Association. She is currently funded by the American Alzheimer's Association for a project examining cognitive training schedules in those with very mild Alzheimer's disease
